The movie "Bride Wars" is a comedy about Emma and Liv, childhood best friends, played by Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson, who have planned every detail of their weddings. After two very different proposals, both are engaged and ready to have a dream wedding: June at the Plaza Hotel. As the friends are caught up in the details and excitement of their weddings, one fateful phone call complicates the ordeal. Due to a clerical error, their weddings have been planned on the same day. Since the two best friends have always done everything together, they want separate days for their most important event but neither is willing to give up the Plaza. Liv won't settle for anything but the perfect wedding and Emma is determined to do anything she can to ensure that her special day is exactly that. Both send out there "save the dates" and this sets off a chain of events that puts both the girls' weddings and their friendships in harm's way.
