Movie Review: "Crank 2: High Voltage"
Date:
April 24, 2009 (All day)

I thought this 2009 film would be an exciting action packed thriller, except it wasn't.

I have never been so disappointed walking out of a theater before. I felt like I would never get those 105 minutes of my life back. The trailer for this movie was a false advertisement; though the movie followed the implied storyline, it drifted off in the intense camera angles, frequent nudity and very bad acting. Jason Statham needs to choose his movies better, for this one, along with "Transporter 2," are his worst. From the somewhat good movie "Crank," this sequel seemed to jump off the deep end this time. I feel that the directors, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, took the book of what not to do in a movie and did everything in it. I highly recommend that you don't even rent this movie or borrow from a friend that was stupid enough to buy it, because it is not worth the money at all. Part of me is glad that I saw this movie because now I can compare every movie that I have ever seen to this one and it will look phenomenally better.
