Flirting with sexual harassment brief
Date:
February 12, 2010 (All day)

The Diversity and Equity Center is sponsoring a workshop on sexual harassment, which will take place on Feb. 18, from 10 a.m. until noon, in Parks Conference Room C.

The main objective of this event is to educate students on how to draw the line between flirtation and sexual harassment.

"Most of the times it feels good and useful to boost a person's confidence, but there are times when it crosses the line and becomes sexual harassment," said Laura Hedges, manager of Women's Services.

The workshop will be an interactive event where students can ask questions to gain a deeper understanding about the positives and negatives impact of flirtation.
